How will I be able to find specific products or merchants?
There are three principal ways for online shoppers to find products or merchants at Menumaker Food Mall:

  1. Browse through our many mall "levels". We have many levels that represent a particular category of products. Each level has a food manufacturer / supplier with featured products all focused on that product category.
  2. Search for specific products or brands. If you are looking for a specific product or brand you can use our Advanced Search function which was specifically developed for in depth search of this site.
  3. Search our manfacturer / merchant directory. Our directory contains an alphabetical listing of all or our merchant webstores.

If you have questions about a particular product, please contact the manufacturer / merchant directly. Each merchant has their contact information available in their webstore. If you have been unsuccessful in contacting the merchant, please let us know so we can investigate.

How do I use the mall-wide shopping cart?
Our "mall-wide" shopping cart allows you to select items from multiple merchants while only having to checkout one time. It is quick and easy to use. After you browse through the mall and add items to your shopping cart, you simply click "continue to checkout" and our shopping cart wizard will walk you through each step. Our "mall-wide" shopping cart features include:

  • With one-click anywhere in our Mall you can easily review all of the items that you have in your shopping cart,
  • You only have to provide your credit card information one time, at checkout,
  • All charges are listed upfront including delivery so you know what you are paying for prior to inputting your credit card information,
  • You can have products shipped to multiple recipients, multiple addresses and even use multiple credit cards, all in one checkout.

Does Menumaker Food Mall stock the products?
No. When you shop at Menumaker Food Mall you are shopping with each individual manufacturer / merchant. Each of our merchants are responsible for maintaining their inventory and fulfilling their orders. Menumaker Food Mall provides the functionality for our merchants to flag their products if they become temporarily unavailable. Please contact the merchant directly if you have any questions.

Am I going to receive unsolicited emails if I register?
No. Our Privacy Policy precludes us from sharing any account information to third parties. Periodically, Menumaker Food Mall will send an email newsletter to inform you of new products, merchants or seasonal specials.

Is there a minimum order amount?
Each manufacturer / merchant determines if they require a minimum order. This information is stated in their webstore for your information. Please visit the webstore or contact the manufacturer / merchant directly for details.

How will I know if the merchant has received my order?
When you place a credit card order you will receive a confirmation email from Menumaker Food Mall. When Menumaker clears your payment, you will also receive an email confirming, when the merchant "ships" the order you will also receive an email indicating that the order has been settled and the necessary order tracking information. You can also check the status of your order in My Account.- just Log-In to view the status of your order.

What is Menumaker Food Mall's role in fulfilling orders?
All orders are placed directly with each merchant and fulfilled by each merchant. Menumaker Food Mall's role is similar to the landlord at your local shopping mall … we bought the land, built the facility and we are leasing space to our tenants (merchants). For your convenience we also provide a "mall-wide" shopping cart for credit card orders. This convenient feature allows you to select items from multiple merchants while only having to checkout one time.

What is your warranty policy?
Each of our merchants has their own warranty and return policies. We require our merchants to clearly state these policies in their webstore. In addition, Menumaker Food Mall requires our merchants to comply with our safe shopping guarantee. Do I have to pay GST sales tax on my order?
The Sales of Goods and Services within New Zealand requires the Manufacturer /Merchant to charge 12.5% GST (Sales Tax) on each order. Menumaker Food Mall calculates sales taxes in the “mall-wide” shopping cart.
